To enhance the broadcast and overall viewing experience of its football esports competitions, FIFA is looking for technologies that can track the biometric data of professional esports athletes and translate such information into live broadcast graphics in real time.
The aim of the challenge is to enrich the viewer's experience by creating a greater understanding of the pressure and high-performance situations of an esports player on the biggest stage. FIFA is open to receiving proposals including, but not limited to, biometrics such as eye movement, heartrate, brain waves and reaction time.
Proposed solutions must be as minimally disruptive to the athletes as possible, and must have been validated via a reputable medical or academic institution – concepts and working prototypes will not be considered.
Applications must include a live demonstration that showcases the solution’s real-time capabilities and multifunctional applications.
The solutions and proposals must be fully self-funded.
