FIFAe Nations Ranking
#
Name
Pts.
The FIFAe Nations Ranking System considers matchups played between two or more eligible MAs within the FIFAe Nations Series. In addition, the system awards points for each qualification stage on the Road to the FIFAe Nations Cup.
During the FIFAe Nations Series, each matchup between MAs is considered. The maximum points per matchup are six (6) points. Within a respective level of the FIFAe Nations Series competition (FIFAe Friendlies and FeNOQ), each matchups "average points-per-matchup" is considered. Depending on the competition structure level in which the average points-per-game are accumulated, an MA is awarded a different multiplication factor (MF).
- FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier Play-ins: average points-per-matchup x 25MF
- FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers Main Stage: average points-per-matchup x 50MF
- FIFAe Nations Playoffs: average points-per-matchup x 75MF
The FIFAe Nations Cup will award a fixed number of points to their ranking.
- FeNC Champion: 1750 points
- Qualified for Final: 1250 points
- Qualified for Semi-Final: 900 points
- Qualified for Quarter-Final: 650 points
- Qualified for Round of 16: 400 points
- Qualified for Group Stage: 275 points
In the FIFAe Nations Series 2023, the performance over previous seasons will be factored into the ranking with a lower relevance factor. Previous season with 50% (season one year before the current season), pre-previous season with 25% (season two years before the current season, not applicable to FeNS23),
Example:
Member Association 1 (MA1) has played 7 FIFAe Friendlies with an average of 4,3 points overall matchups. For the 7 FIFAe Friendlies, MA1 will receive a multiplication factor of 2 (1 multiplier for every 3 FIFAe Friendlies x 2 = 2 multiplication factors). Therefore, MA1's FIFAe Nations Series points from FIFAe Friendlies are 8,6 (4,3 average points x 2 multiplication factor = 8,6 points).
During the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier, MA1 plays at an average of 3,8 points. Therefore, it gets an additional 190 points (3,8 points x 50 multiplication factor for the Online Qualifier = 190 points).
MA1 qualifies for the FIFAe Nations Playoffs and averages 4,3 points. Therefore, MA1 gets an additional 322,5 points (4,3 points x 75 multiplication factor for the Online Qualifier = 322,5 points).
At the FeNC, MA1 is eliminated in the Round of 16 and awarded 400 points. After the conclusion of the FeNC 2022, MA1 will therefore possess a total of 921,1 points (8,6 points from FIFAe Friendlies + 190 from the Online Qualifiers + 322,5 from the Playoffs + 400 in the final event = 921,1 points).
