The eChampions League trophy has quickly become one of the most coveted in the Global Series season.

About the competition

eCL Online Qualifiers – December 4th & 5th, 2021

Players will compete in one of four Online Qualifiers:

  • West: France, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom

  • Iberia & Benelux: Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain

  • Germany & Austria: Austria, Germany

  • Nordics & East: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

These competitions will be held in a Swiss format leading to an elimination phase until 16 players are remaining in each.

eCL Group Stage – February 19th & 20th, 2022

The four groups will combine into two as players compete in one of two competitions:

  • Western Europe: West, Iberia & Benelux

  • Central & Eastern Europe: Germany & Austria, Nordics & East

This in-person competition will be run as two Swiss events. Each group will complete in one day with 16 of the 32 players from each competition moving on to the next phase of the competition.

eCL Knockout Stage – April 23rd & 24th, 2022

The 32 remaining players will enter one double elimination bracket and play until only eight players are remaining.

eCL Finals – May 27th, 2022

Played the day before the UEFA Champions League final, the knockout bracket will complete and the 2022 eChampions League winner will be found!
