Organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), the FPF MVP Challenge Closed Qualifier and consequent Playoffs are set to unfold from 5 July to 13 July, bringing together some of the best EA FC players in the country.

Competition Structure

Following a thrilling open qualifier that drew 108 participants, 16 standout players secured their spots in the next stage: the closed qualifier. They now prepare to face a fresh wave of competition in a highly anticipated closed qualifier, where the stakes are higher and the path to victory even more demanding.

The closed qualifier features 32 players — 16 from the open qualifier and 16 invited entrants — competing in a Swiss-format bracket. Each match will be a Best-of-1 (BO1) format, with games lasting 9 minutes per half. Players who earn 3 wins will qualify for the playoffs, while 3 losses will result in elimination. The playoffs consist of four groups of four players each, using a double-elimination bracket. The top two from each group will advance to the Round of 16.
