The eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™ 2025 is the official esports club competition of the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J.League, bringing together all 40 clubs from J1 and J2. After progressing through two rounds, on 7 June, 16 club representatives advance to the final stage of the tournament, where competition will unfold across both mobile and console platforms.
Competition Structure
First 2 rounds (17 May)
40 clubs (J1 and J2)
One representative per division (Mobile and PlayStation®) selected through internal club qualifiers face each other in two first rounds.
Final Stage Format
16 clubs face off in a single-elimination bracket.
Each fixture consists of two matches:
Mobile Division (eFootball™ Mobile)
PlayStation® Division (eFootball™ on PS5)
The aggregate score from both matches determines the winner.
