FIFAe World Cup ft. eFootball™ Mobile

Selection Process

The road to the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile begins with nations identifying their representatives through various selection processes. This includes Domestic Trials, Bootcamps and the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ Challenger Series – an open competition for all eFootball™ players, where standout participants may earn a chance to be shortlisted by their Member Association for the National Nomination Phase.

From there, nations advance to the FIFAe Regional Online Qualifiers, aiming to secure their place on the global stage at the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile.

National Team Selection

After the completion of the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ Challenger Series, players may be selected for National Qualifiers, Bootcamps, or Direct Nominations at the discretion of each nation. Players must possess a valid passport of the nation they selected in-game and want to represent.

The process of selecting national representatives may differ across countries.

For more information on the selection process, please consult your nation’s channels. Updates will be shared on FIFA.GG as available.

Nations may use the following methods to select their representatives:

  • Bootcamps: Closed training and evaluation camps for top-performing players
  • Domestic Trials: Open trials, with optional invitations to well-known national players
  • Direct Nominations: For countries with pre-identified talent ready to compete globally

MAs may nominate a maximum of 2 players to their Extended National Squad for the Regional Online Qualifiers. In the end, MAs will nominate 1 player and a coach for the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile.

The full list of participating nations and their selection methods will be revealed in August on FIFA.GG. Please consult your nation’s social media channels for more information on the selection process. Updates will also be shared on FIFA.GG.
