Following an unforgettable FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring eFootball™ Console, Poland was crowned World Champions. Now, the Road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ kicks off. Since February, Member Associations have been launching their National Programmes, activating local communities and identifying the players who will represent their nation on the international stage.
The FIFAe 2026 season introduces an expanded competitive structure for national teams. With a record 115 nations competing on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ ft. eFootball™ Console, the largest FIFAe season to date begins in April with the FIFAe Nations League 2026.
The FIFAe Nations League marks the starting point of the season, with national teams competing across three online qualifying weeks. Each week begins with a Single Round Robin Group Stage, followed by a Single Elimination Knockout Stage in Weeks 1 and 2, and a Double Elimination Knockout Stage in Week 3. This format ensures meaningful playtime for every team while introducing high pressure elimination scenarios throughout the competition. Across all three weeks, national teams earn Consistency Points based on their performances in both the Group Stage and Knockout Stage, rewarding sustained success over time. This structure not only creates a fair and competitive qualification environment, but also allows Member Associations to test, adapt, and refine their line ups as the competition progresses. At the end of Week 3, the highest ranked nations in the overall standings, along with the top performers from the final week, qualify for the FIFAe Continental Championships.
The FIFAe Continental Championships represent the final step on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™, bringing together the strongest teams from each region. Here, competition reaches its peak as nations battle not only for qualification to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™, but also for the title of the first ever FIFAe Continental Champions. More information and details on competition format, schedules, and qualification spots per region of the FIFAe Continental Championships will be published soon.
With the new season underway, national teams from around the world will compete for the ultimate prize, the title of FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Champions, the pinnacle of national team esports competition.
