FIFAe World Cup 2026™ ft. eFootball™ Mobile

Selection Process

The road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ ft. eFootball™ Mobile begins with nations identifying their representatives through various selection processes. This includes National Trials, Bootcamps and the FIFAe Challenger Series, an open competition for all eFootball™ players, where standout participants may earn a chance to be shortlisted by their Member Association for the National Nomination Phase.

National Team Selection

After the completion of the FIFAe Challenger Series, players may be selected for National Qualifiers, Bootcamps, or Direct Nominations at the discretion of each nation. Players must possess a valid passport of the nation they selected in-game and want to represent.

The process of selecting national representatives may differ across countries.

Nations may use the following methods to select their representatives:

  • Bootcamps: Closed training and evaluation camps for top-performing players
  • National Trials: Open trials, with optional invitations to well-known national players
  • Direct Nominations: For countries with pre-identified talent ready to compete globally

MAs may nominate a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 players to their Extended National Squad for the FIFAe Nations League. In the end, MAs will nominate 2 players and a coach for the FIFAe Continental Championships and the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ ft. eFootball™ Mobile.
