Drafts

During the FIFAe Nations Series 2023, the concept of the FIFAe Draft will impact the in-game items that Participating Member Associations are allowed to use. The Draft will emphasize the tactical considerations that go into the selection of individual in-game items and create more diversity among the in-game squads.

The Draft is conducted per group/division with a limited number of teams. New drafts occur for each match week. By drafting an in-game item, a team can use any variation or card of the selected player (e.g., base version and special cards like "Team of the Week").

In phase one (1), teams can name three (3) key players they wish to build the backbone of their in-game squad. These players can be duplicates among the participating teams.

In the second (2) phase, teams participate in the actual Draft, in which they are allowed to draft a predefined number of in-game items. Key players from phase one (1) are removed from this part, and there can be no duplicates during this phase.

For phase three (3), teams complete their in-squad by selecting players from the open pool, which contains all players that are not Key Players or selected in Phase two (2). Items chosen in phase three (3) can again be duplicates.
