• FIFAe World Cup 2022™ to take place from July 14 to 17

• 32 players will compete for the biggest share of USD 500,000

• World’s best individual player to be crowned and bespoke trophy to be lifted 

Following an extensive season-long qualification process on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2022™ presented by EA SPORTS™, the 32 players have finally been confirmed that will compete to get their hands on the FIFAe World Cup trophy in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of the FIFAe Finals 2022.

The process so far

The best players from every corner of the globe have been competing against each other all season long to earn ranking points and to compete via different partner leagues such as the Virtual Bundesliga and ePremier League to earn their spot at the playoffs.

Due to the ever-increasing number of participants across the globe, players were split into different rankings based on their location on their qualification route to the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs, which took place in London over the weekend. 

The top players from the regional rankings or from league partners progressed to the playoffs, where only 32 players from around the world qualified for the pinnacle event in Copenhagen.

Ones to watch

It is the perfect trifecta for Tekkz, DullenMIKE, Matias Bonanno, Levi de Weerd, Tuga810, Ollelito and ManuBachoore who with their qualification to the FIFAe World Cup have secured a spot at all three events taking place at the FIFAe Finals 2022. The dream of winning all three is alive for these competitors, who are looking to cement their place in the FIFA esports history books.

Argentina’s nicolas99fc - recent eChampions League winner - also secured his spot at the FIFAe World Cup, and will be looking to take his dominant form into Copenhagen.

It has also been a good Global Series Playoffs for the Danes, as TeamHajj01, Klenke, and OneWayCrazy will get the chance to compete in Copenhagen on their home soil.

Stefano Pinna has qualified for his third FIFAe World Cup, and will look to go one better than his result in 2018, where he finished runner-up.

How to watch

The FIFAe Finals in their entirety will be streamed live on FIFAe’s Twitch and Facebook channels - and the FIFAe World Cup will take place live from July 14 to July 17. Make sure to catch all the results and action also live on the hub for FIFAe - FIFA.GG.
