If you have previously used a FIFA.GG account for other titles, but you want to participate in a tournament with a different title (e.g., FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring Rocket League) you'll need to register a new account specifically for the new title. Don’t worry—your profiles will be merged into one account later on, so you won’t lose any data.

Here are some common FAQs that can help you understand how the procedure works

I have never signed up to FIFA.GG but my username is already there!

FIFA.GG covers multi-title competitions within the football esports universe. It is possible that, in order to cover a competition you participated in, we had to create a temporary profile for you. Do not worry - this doesn't affect your possibility of creation of new profiles or of the selection of new titles at all.

What do I need to do if my gamertag was already created or if I have already signed up before for a different title?

1. Create a New Account

• Use a different email address to create a new FIFA.GG account.

• Choose an available username for your new account.

2. Handling Username Issues

• If your preferred username is unavailable because a) It was already created for you, or b) You've previously used it for another title, you’ll need to temporarily select a different username. If you’d rather not choose an entirely new name, you can modify your original username by adding characters like:

• A period (e.g., "originalusername.")

• An underscore (e.g., "original_username")

• Spaces or numbers. (e.g., "original username", "originalusername1")

3. Notify Us of Your Preferred Username (if Applicable)

• After creating the new account with a temporary username, inform us of the preferred username that you wish to use for the new tournament.

• We will then take care of merging your old and new accounts and update them with your preferred username.

Why do we need to create new user accounts?

FIFA.GG has been transitioning to a multi-title platform. This is a temporary procedure that we use to assign you to correct titles, correct competitions and to correct rankings.

What is FIFA ID? Does it affect my previous or new accounts?

Any user can simply log in with their existing FIFA.GG credentials on FIFA ID and anyone who wants to create an account on FIFA.GG will be redirected to FIFA ID and will be able to use their account or create an account as normal. No other step is required.
