Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain earn their qualification to the quarter finals from Group A
The FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League to take place on 7 December
The group stage of the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring Rocket League delivered intense action, dramatic qualifications and a roller coaster of emotions as the last round of the group stage went through. The audience stayed at the edge of their seat during the whole day, setting up a great atmosphere throughout the whole day. The top nations battled for a place in the quarterfinals and only eight managed to go through. Ultimately Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain advanced from Group A; while France, Brazil, Morocco and Chile advance from Group B to the FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League Quarter Finals taking place on 7 December.
Belgium breaks the Netherlands' streak: The Netherlands, previously undefeated, faced a shocking defeat in Round 8 against Belgium. The result was a staggering 9-0 aggregate, halting their momentum.
Saudi Arabia’s dominance: Saudi Arabia delivered an exceptional performance, remaining undefeated throughout the entire group stage. They emerged as one of the strongest contenders in the tournament. With Kiileerrz, Rw9, trk511 and d7oom-24, fans believe everything is possible for the hosting nation!
The Netherlands’ Unexpected Rise: Initially considered underdogs, the Netherlands defied expectations to secure second place in Group A, ensuring their qualification for the quarterfinals.
Spain’s narrow escape: The fight for the fourth spot in Group A remained until the very end. England made a valiant effort in the final round, defeating South Africa 6-0 to improve their goal differential in the first game. However, Spain managed to hold their position, thanks in part to Belgium's dominance over them in Game 1 of the last round. South Africa spoiled England’s plans by holding the English roster to a draw in the final game, sealing Spain's qualification.
Germany’s upset: Although Germany did not qualify, they achieved a memorable win in the last round against a formidable opponent—the Netherlands—showing their resilience.
Efforts by Germany and England fall short: Both Germany and England displayed strong performances on Day 2, collecting a significant number of points. However, these efforts were not enough to secure advancement as Spain and Belgium made way into the third and fourth spot in the table.
South Africa and Australia stay positive: Despite missing the cut, South Africa and Australia ended their group stage campaigns with commendable sportsmanship and a few upsets, leaving a great impression on this tournament and leaving the fans looking forward to seeing them again!
Morocco’s early momentum: Morocco started their campaign with an impressive 7-1 aggregate victory over the USA, setting an early tone for their group stage matches.
France vs. Morocco drama: The highly anticipated France-Morocco matchup delivered intense gameplay. France dominated the first game, but Morocco retaliated in the second game, resulting in an exciting draw that showcased the determination of both teams.
Chile’s close encounter with Morocco. Chile put up an incredible fight against Morocco in Round 12 which lead to an overtime of more than five minutes, ending with a goal of the fan favorite: Itachi.
USA vs. Brazil repeat victory: The USA and Brazil faced off once again, with Brazil replicating their success from the first leg, securing another decisive win.
Argentina’s courageous exit: Although Argentina was eliminated from the competition, they delivered commendable performances, challenging some of the tournament's strongest teams and proving their mettle.
USA and Chile's fierce battle for fourth: The race for the fourth spot in the table came down to the final round. In a dramatic overtime showdown, Chile clinched victory in the first game and in second's game overtime, securing their place and leaving the USA just short of qualification.
USA exits the competition, but not the fans' hearts. USA fought until the very end and with a team willing to stand up for them, they left the competition with honor and with home support for a next time.
France - an undefeated giant: France completed the group stage without a single defeat, with the most goals scored both as a team and individually per game, solidifying their status as favorites. With a superstar-studded roster, France's performance has been nothing short of dominant.
Brazil’s streak snapped by Morocco: Brazil’s impressive undefeated run came to an end in Round 13 when they faced Morocco. Itachi delivered a standout performance, leading Morocco to a crucial victory.

Quarterfinalists Decided: From Group A, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain secured their spots in the quarterfinals. Group B saw its top four teams France, Brazil, Morocco and Chile earn their way into the next stage.
On 7 December, these top 8 qualified nations face each other at the FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League Quarter Finals, on a single elimination stage and a best-of-seven (Bo7): a format pretty familiar to the Rocket League community and players.
The winners of the Quarter Finals proceed to the Semi Finals, where only 1 nation will rule them all and earn the Champion of FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League title.
