Day one of the FIFAe World Cup 2022™ presented by EA SPORTS™ has come to a close here at the Bella Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark and it is both likely competitors and some out-performers who sit atop of the groups so far after rounds one through seven.
The competition kicked off with an enthralling matchup between FIFAe legend Nicolas99fc and FIFAe main stage newcomer KKoray, marking a special moment as the biggest individual event in which all competitors had been dreaming of competing in finally commenced in Copenhagen, Denmark.
All competitors have played each other once, but it is only ManuBachoore and Matias Bonanno who are undefeated heading into day two, coincidentally with them in the same group (drawing with each other 0-0 in their matchup).
The eyes across the world glued to the FIFAe universe have empowered and motivated some both surprising and unsurprising names, as Young, Umut and Ollelito have all looked competitive and impressive through their first seven matches.

The action kicked off at 11am with Group A & C getting us underway with eight games, and it was a perfect start for KKoray, who managed to hold on to a 2-1 lead despite a late scare against experienced FIFAe stalwort Nicolas99fc - who has struggled throughout the entirety of day 1 - he sits in the bottom half of Group C, having only won one match of seven.
Normal systems have been resumed for multi-pinnacle qualifiers Ollelito and Levi de Weerd, who have both been very impressive throughout the first day of action. They both lead the pack in the top parts of their group, but it is a surprise leader in Group A, as SPQR Young leapfrogged Levi de Weerd on the final matchday to accompany the first place spot headed into day two.
In the evening session, it was the continued story of domination from the Dutch rookie ManuBachoore - who has qualified for all three events in Copenhagen - and jumped out to an early lead in day one, leading comfortably at the top of Group D unbeaten.
Group B’s first session was blown wide open by late wins from Tekkz and JRA, meaning the gap between the top of the table and being knocked out is just one singular point. It all sets up a fascinating day two, when we find out the names competing during the Knockout stage.
