Day two of the FIFAe World Cup 2022™ presented by EA SPORTS™ has come to a close here at the Bella Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark and through rounds eight through fourteen, we now finally know the players who will be competing in the Knockout stage of the tournament.

The competition day kicked off with round eight of group stages, and all eyes were on the group leaders and the bottom of the table to see if any instant movement was about to take place. Nicolas99fc surged up the table through the first few games as he found his rhythm to eventually finish second in the group and qualify for the Knockout stage.

With all competitors having played each other twice, it is only the RBLZ Gaming man Umut who has managed to accrue 10 wins through the Group stages - he finished top of Group C with 30 points - the widely touted ‘Group of Death’.

The eyes across the world glued to the FIFAe universe have continued to inspire the players, as StingrayJnr, ManuBachoore and Obrun2002 all impressed on day two and have also secured spots in the Knockout stage.

The action kicked off again at 11am with Group A & C getting us underway as per usual with eight games, and the tension in the air matched the action on the pitch, as more goals were scored and risks were taken across these matches, resulting in no draws across the first two rounds of play.

It was Umut who dominated the play across the morning and early afternoon in Group C, becoming the first and only player to win ten matches. He sits top of the group comfortably, but joining him in the Knockout stage are FIFAe stalwarts Nicolas99fc and Tuga810, as well as a well-supported Frenchman at the arena - LJR_Peixoto - who qualified on goal difference.

In Group A, Paulo Neto dominated proceedings from the start of day one, and late pushes on day two from Lamps and StingrayJnr saw them join Young as the qualifiers for the Knockout stage.

The evening session was full of drama in Group B as just two points separated qualification from the bottom of the table. It came down to the final minutes of the final matchday as all of JRA, Klenke and Tekkz could still qualify, and with Klenke and Tekkz conceding last minute goals, it was JRA who qualified for the Knockout stage despite losing himself, joining Pinna97, EmreYilmaz and Obrun2002.
