On 30 May, EA announced more details on the FC Pro 24 World Championship, a top-tier football esports competition running on the EA FC 24 title. The competition will feature the world's top 32 FC 24 players competing for the title of World Champion.

The championship will be the pinnacle event of a season-long competitive circuit which includes players qualified from the FC Pro Open and players qualified from the FC Pro Leagues from all over the world.

What is the structure of the tournament?

The tournament will see a total of 32 players face off in a group stage and a single-elimination format to determine the first ever EA FC Pro 24 World Champion.

First, 20 players participate in the FC 24 Pro Play-ins that take place prior to the pinnacle event. From there, the top 8 players qualify for the FC Pro 24 World Championship where they meet the FC Pro Open top four and the partner leagues' winners.

Who participates in the FC Pro 24 World Championship?

The participants of the competition will be the top four players from the FC Pro Open competition which finished on early February; in addition to the champions from the FC Pro Leagues tournaments, which represented iconic local football clubs throughout the first half of the year.

When and where does the FC Pro 24 World Championship take place?

The grand event was announced to be held on 10-13 July in Berlin, Germany. The event will have a live audience and will also be streamed through official channels. FIFA.GG will also cover the FC Pro 24 World Championship, including live results and statistics.

Prize pool

The prize pool of the competition is of USD 1'000'000, with USD 250'000 going to the Champion.
