FIFAe Continental Championships 2026: Everything you need to know

Linked Competitions

  • The FIFAe Continental Championships make their debut as final regional stages before the FIFAe World Cup 2026™.

  • Qualification to the FIFAe Continental Championships determined by Consistency Points and Qualifying-Week 3 of the FIFAe Nations League.

  • The Continental Championships will be hosted offline in five countries of the five different regions.

The FIFAe ecosystem gets more competitive in 2026: the FIFAe Continental Championships make their debut as new regional stages across eFootball™ Console, eFootball™ Mobile and Rocket League. Here, top-performing nations from each region will compete to become the first-ever FIFAe Continental Champions and to qualify to the pinnacle events held later this year.

How do the FIFAe Continental Championships work?

The FIFAe Continental Championships are designed to create a globally connected qualification structure, while a more balanced regional representation at the FIFAe Finals 2026 is ensured.

Following three qualification weeks of FIFAe Nations League across all titles, the FIFAe Continental Championships will bring together the top-performing nations to give it all for glory.

The competitions will take place across five* regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, North & Central America, and South America. Oceania follows a separate qualification structure via the Intercontinental Playoff*.

How do nations qualify for the FIFAe Continental Championships?

The Qualification to the FIFAe Continental Championships is determined through the FIFAe Nations League via two mechanisms:

1. Consistency Point Slots

Consistency Points are awarded to nations with the strongest cumulative performances across all qualification weeks based on the consistency ranking. Nations with the most Consistency Points at the conclusion of the FIFAe Nations League will qualify for the FIFAe Continental Championships.

2. Week 3 Direct Qualification Slots

Direct qualification is awarded to nations achieving top spots during the Week 3 Knockout Stage.

Nations earning a Week 3 Direct Qualification Slot will qualify automatically to the FIFAe Continental Championships, regardless of their position in the Consistency Rankings. If a nation qualifies through both pathways, the corresponding Consistency Point Slot will roll down to the next highest-ranked nation in the Consistency standings.

As hosting Member Associations, Portugal, Brazil and Morocco are automatically qualified to the respective FIFAe Continental Championships. Saudi Arabia will be automatically qualified for the FIFAe Finals as the host nation and will therefore not participate in the FIFAe Continental Championships. At the conclusion of week 3 of the FIFAe Nations League, these nations will be removed from the consistency rankings. If any of these nations finishes Week 3 in a direct qualification position, that position will be passed to the next-best ranked nation accordingly.
