First qualified nations for FIFAe Nations Playoffs 2023™

Current state of the competition

More than 80 nations across the world have been battling it out to secure the first spots in the Playoffs as the third and final week of Play-ins is coming to an end. Only 16 nations will reach the Playoffs for now, while the remaining teams will continue their journey in the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier 2023™ in April.

Once the remaining 32 teams are decided, 48 member associations will fight in their respective regions to qualify for the ultimate event of the FIFAe Nations Series – the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023™ presented by EA SPORTS™.

The FIFAe Nations Series Play-ins 2023™ has been running since December 2022 and will be held till the beginning of March.

FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier 2023

Update (14 March 2023)

Today, the last draw for the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier 2023was finalized with the draw of Asia and Oceania nations into groups. Up next, how the distribution of nations has been set in the Online Qualifier:

FIFAe Nations Playoffs 2023

Update (9 March 2023)

Today, after a delay due to consistent connection issues experienced by players in Asia & Oceania during the third match-week of the FIFAe Nations Play-ins 2023™, Asia & Oceania were able to play for their spots in the Playoffs. The winning nations of the region were Australia and Malaysia. They will join the other 14 nations from four regions directly in the Playoffs.

For Asia & Oceania:

The third match-week of the FIFAe Nations Play-ins 2023™ has been postponed in the Asia & Oceania zone due to consistent connection issues experienced by players in the region. All remaining games of the third match-week will now be played on Thursday, March 9th 2023.

About the competition

FIFA’s official inter-nation competition features nations from five different zones across the globe in an opportunity to participate in the pinnacle event: the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023™, presented by EA SPORTS™. In a 2v2 competition with an extra substitute for each national team, players participate in a competitive and divergent dynamic motivated by national pride. The FIFAe Nations Cup has previously been claimed by France (2019) and Brazil (2022). Only one great nation can emerge victorious this summer.
