As FIFA.GG covers various multi-title competitions in the football esports world, eFootball™ has become one of the featured titles, highlighted through several tournaments. This year, FIFAe has teamed up with KONAMI to present the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™ - Console and FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™ - Mobile. In these tournaments, players will represent their countries to compete for the ultimate and first-ever title of FIFAe World Champion™ featuring eFootball™ on their respective platforms.

If you are participating in these pinnacle events or you simply want to register as an eFootball™ player on FIFA.GG, the steps to follow are very simple! We explain this up next step by step.

First: register on FIFA.GG

Please skip the registration step if you have already registered as an eFootball™ player in the past and head over to "Next: Claiming your ranking"!

1. Go to FIFA.GG and click on the Login button in the top right corner.

2. There, you will be redirected to a screen in which you will be able to either Sign in with FIFA ID (process described below) or register. Please click or tap on "Register"

3. You will be redirected to the FIFA ID sign up screen. Please fill up your data and remember to use an email you have access to, as you will be requested to confirm your email address in order to continue the registration process.

4. After you have successfully registered, you will have to select the game you are playing. Please note that, even if you play other titles mentioned, you need to select eFootball™.

5. You will now be requested to input your gamertag and your eFootball User ID. And that's it! You are officially registered as an eFootball™ player on FIFA.GG!

Next: Claiming your ranking

Once you have registered successfully, now is time to claim your ranking position. For this, you need to:

1. Head over to FIFA.GG, and on the navigation bar, hover over "Competitions" -> "eFootball™" -> and select which of the two competitions (Console or Mobile) you are currently participating in. There, simply go to the "Ranking" tab.

• If you are a console player, go directly to FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™ - Console. If you are a mobile player, head over to FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™ - Mobile.

2. Select your country of representation in the right corner above the Ranking. There, you will see all players registered under that country and will be able to see your gamertag if you have participated in the in-game rounds to qualify for this tournament and have ranked in the top 100 within the Round 3.

3. Click or tap on your gamertag and you will be redirected to the player profile. Once there, fill in the Country of Residence and your eFootball User ID.

4. We then receive your request. If the data matches the request, we will approve and that's it! You have now claimed your ranking position on FIFA.GG

FAQs

I have previously created an account on FIFA.GG to play a different title

If you have previously used a FIFA.GG account for other titles, but you want to participate in a tournament with a different title (e.g., FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™) you'll need to register a new account specifically for the new title. Don’t worry—your profiles will be merged into one account later on, so you won’t lose any data.

If you have already registered as an eFootball™ player in the past, you can simply skip the registration process and follow the process to claim your ranking position!

I have never signed up to FIFA.GG but my username is already there!

It is possible that, in order to cover a competition you previously participated in, we had to create a temporary profile for you. Do not worry - this doesn't affect your possibility of creation of new profiles or of the selection of new titles at all.

So what do I need to do if my gamertag is already in use?

If your preferred username is unavailable because a) It was already created for you, or b) You've previously used it for another title, you’ll need to temporarily select a different username. If you’d rather not choose an entirely new name, you can modify your original username by adding characters like:

• A period (e.g., "originalusername.")

• An underscore (e.g., "original_username")

• Spaces or numbers. (e.g., "original username", "originalusername1")

You can then notify us to support@fifa.org your preferred username and we will then take care of merging your old and new accounts and update them with your preferred username.

When registering, my email has already been used! What do I do?

If your email address is already assigned to a FIFA.GG account, this means you have registered with it in the past. To participate as a player of a new title - in this case, eFootball™, please follow the registration process as described above with a different email address.

Why do I need to create a new user account?

FIFA.GG has been transitioning to a multi-title platform. This is a temporary procedure that we use to assign you to correct titles, correct competitions and to correct rankings.

What is FIFA ID? Does it affect my previous or new accounts?

Any user can simply log in with their existing FIFA.GG credentials on FIFA ID and anyone who wants to create an account on FIFA.GG will be redirected to FIFA ID and will be able to use their account or create an account as normal. No other step is required.
