The finals took place on February 20-21 at the Winter Assembly trade fair in the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Kossu, representing AC Oulu, secured spots in the FC Pro World Championship Play-ins and the eChampions League.
This marks Kossu’s second consecutive eFutisliiga title.
The eFutisliiga 2024/25, organized by Veikkausliiga and the Finnish Football Association, concluded its fourth season on February 21 with an exciting mix of seasoned football esports players and new challengers from the qualifiers. The tournament featured 12 top players competing in the EA SPORTS FC™ 25 title, each representing a Finnish team. And for the second year in a row, Kossu and AC Oulu emerged victorious, cementing their dominance in Finland’s premier football esports competition.
But AC Oulu’s victory wasn’t just about the title. Jesse Kosamo (Kossu) dominated the finals, finishing as the top scorer, longest winning streak holder, and the player with the highest average goals per match. All in two competition days! SJK Seinäjoki, FC Haka and the runner-up, IFK Mariehamn represented by Nigi also gave exceptionally good performances throughout the day.
Kossu now looks ahead to competing in two of the biggest global tournaments: the FC Pro World Championship Play-ins and the eChampions League.
