Countries looking to get through the Online Qualifiers in an attempt to already qualify for the FIFAe Nations Playoffs™
All culminates with 24 nations at the pinnacle event - the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022™
Every great nation has its true heroes. With national pride and global glory at stake, FIFAe’s official competition for nations featuring the world’s best athletes representing their country on a worldwide stage. The FIFAe Nations Series 2022™ gives athletes the opportunity to play alongside their national teammates in a 2v2 format, providing the tournament a unique, competitive dynamic.
All participating Member associations (MAs) from the 2021 season are invited to take part in the Play-Ins, with the top teams qualifying directly to the FIFAe Nations Playoffs, skipping the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers Main stage.
The Play-Ins will start this month and last until April 2022. Over a period of four competition weeks, the nations will compete in a 2v2 online format to be top of their region’s divisions.
Those that don’t qualify directly for the Playoffs will be joined by newly onboarding Member associations as the nations will battle it out for the remaining slots at the FIFAe Nations Playoffs within their respective zones in the main stage.
Over a period of up to two weeks, the MAs will compete for qualification to the FIFAe Nations Playoffs - where the 23 nations that will join the host nation for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 will be found. The Playoffs will also be operated as a 2v2 event divided into five different regions.
Once all of the 24 nations have gathered for the pinnacle event, the competition will consist of four groups with six nations each, competing against each other in a round-robin format. The top four nations of each group will make the single-elimination knockout stage, where the MAs will compete in a 2v2 aggregate-score format, until the winning nation of the FIFAe Nations Cup is crowned and cements their legacy into the FIFAe history books.
Throughout the season, FIFA’s Member associations have the opportunity to offer their communities a chance to compete amongst one another on EA SPORTS™ FIFA 22 in an attempt to find the most competitive athletes within the country. Once they prove their worth, the national team could select them to the squad - providing these prospective athletes a chance to show their value for their flag during FIFAe Friendlies.
FIFAe Friendlies - matchups between nations in preparation for the FIFAe Nations Series to build team chemistry - are already underway, and with these matchups contributing to the FIFAe Nations Rankings, Member associations from around the world are beginning to stake an early claim for the most feared nation amongst the competition and the favourite to fame their game.
During the FIFAe Nations Series, each matchup between MAs is considered.
