The FIFAe Club World Cup 2023™ presented by Gamers8 has come to an end on 09 July, marking the end of an intense season. This year, the FIFAe Club World Cup was the first tournament carried out during the FIFAe Finals, featuring the semi finals and the finals as the last stages. On the final day, Napoli eSports, TG.NIP, Team FUTWIZ Europe, and RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig battled it out for the top spot.
In a thrilling match against Team FUTWIZ Europe, RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig emerged as the triumphant team, claiming the title of FIFAe Club World Champion, and dethroning the early departed Riders x Atlético de Madrid, who won the championship in 2022.
The day kicked off with a nail-biting match between Napoli eSports and Team FUTWIZ Europe. Napoli eSports took an early lead, but the British duo quickly leveled the score. The two teams fought fiercely throughout the two-legged match, resulting in a tense penalty shootout, which ultimately saw the Italian newcomers defeated. In another semi-final clash, TG.NIP faced a tough 5-1 defeat against RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig, with Umut and Vejrgang securing their place in the finals with a late-minute goal. Ultimately, a strong defense and a consistent offensive performance, lead their team to victory.
The finals witnessed a thrilling and lengthy match between RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig and Team FUTWIZ Europe. After an intense battle, RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig emerged as FIFAe Club World Champion with a tight 3-2 scoreline in extra time. The players celebrated their well-deserved victory and lifted the trophy, marking a place in the prestigious legacy of the FIFAe Club World Cup.
The FIFAe Club World Cup 2023 concluded on 09 July. The fan-favorites RBLZ Gaming - RB Leipzig won the trophy and the prize money, snatching the title from the previous champions, Riders x Atlético de Madrid, who triumphed in Copenhagen last year. While the FIFAe Club World Cup has reached its conclusion, the FIFAe Finals are far from over. On 11 July, the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 commence, pitting some of the players who competed in this event against each other as competitors in the following days.
