• WhizFox handed FIFAe Continental Cup trophy after intense two-week competition

• Winners from Korea Republic claim the largest share of the USD 300,000 prize pool

A spectacular EA SPORTS™ FIFA Online 4 Series has come to a close after 10 months of incredible competition - including regional qualifiers and three Champions Cups, followed by the pinnacle event - the FIFAe Continental Cup 2021™. The newly crowned champion WhizFox wrote their name into the history book and lifted the brand-new trophy after an outstanding performance in front of millions of online viewers.

Qualified teams from China PR, Thailand, Korea Republic and Vietnam competed for eternal glory on the largest FIFA Online 4 stage, with some notable names among the list such as FaZe Clan, Manchester City Esports Team, Wolves and the FIFAe Champions Cup 2021™ winners CrazyWin. 

Following a fierce Group Stage with some big upsets, WhizFox were able to leave their rivals in the dust and progress to the Final against FaZe Clan where they claimed ultimate fame by conquering the pinnacle event of the year, claiming the USD 100,000 winning prize money. The Korean team is the first one to get their hands on the yet untouched trophy and highlight their badge as the best club of the FO4 season.

FIFA and EA are excited to announce that the 2022 season is already around the corner, as the hunt for ultimate FIFA Online 4 glory will start again with the FIFAe Champions Cup™ taking place from January 14-23, 2022 followed by the Summer EACC in April, 2022. Next season, the community can expect the same multi-stage excitement of the teams’ journey from domestic competition to the pinnacle of international play, as showcased by the FIFA Online 4 talent this year. Legacy will once again be at the fingertips of the competitors as they represent their clubs on the biggest stages of competitive FIFA Online 4 throughout the season. 

Teams will challenge their local rivals as well as international teams from the other FIFA Online 4 regions in the FIFAe Champions Cup, as well as two EACC events to claim valuable points on the road to the FIFAe Continental Cup 2022.
