The Rocket League Esports World Cup took place from 22 to 25 August 2024, bringing together the top Rocket League teams to compete for the ultimate title. The tournament was divided into two phases: the Group Stage and Playoffs.
Sixteen teams were divided into four groups, competing in a GSL Format (double-elimination within groups). All matches were best-of-five (Bo5). The top two teams from each group advanced to the Playoffs, while the bottom two teams were eliminated from the tournament.
The eight remaining teams battled in a single-elimination bracket. Every match was a best-of-seven (Bo7), raising the stakes for each game. One loss meant elimination from the tournament. The Playoffs concluded with a thrilling Grand Final, crowning the RLCS World Cup winner.
The 2024 World Cup featured some of the most intense Rocket League action ever seen, with the best teams displaying their skills in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment, leaving fans in awe.
The USD 500,000 prize pool was shared among the finalists. In addition, EWC Club Points were also spread among the teams.
