FIFAe Club Series 2021™

The FIFAe Club World Cup explained

The pinnacle event for EA SPORTS FIFA™ esports clubs took place in late February, where players competed for their clubs from home in a zone-based format, featuring six different zones across the world. The FIFAe Club World Cup™ first took place in 2017 as a 1v1 event, but the format changed the following year to become the 2v2 format that fans have grown to love.

About the competition

Following a fierce online qualifying campaign with a record number of over 480 teams participating in the online qualifiers, all 42 participants at the FIFAe Club World Cup 2021™ zone finals have been confirmed.

Teams have been represented by two players who competed on the biggest stage of competitive FIFA to build their teams’ legacies and for a total prize pool of USD 245,000, in addition to the USD 105,000 in prize money distributed after the online qualifiers. With 42 teams qualifying for the zone finals, more teams than ever have showcased their skills to a worldwide audience.

Traditional football clubs with dedicated esports teams such as Inter eSports, endemic esports teams such as Mkers, and community teams such as WICKED ESPORTS, all qualified for the most anticipated FIFA esports club event of the year.

All teams have fought against their rivals for ultimate glory and the brightest spotlight to become one of the six zone winners.
