The FIFAe Nations Cup explained

With national pride and global glory at stake, FIFA’s official inter-nation competition features nations from across the globe represented by their best players in EA SPORTS™ FIFA 21. The FIFAe Nations Cup™ gives players the opportunity to play alongside a national teammate with an extra substitute in a 2v2 format, adding a divergent, competitive dynamic with national pride on the line.

Only one of these great nations can rise above the rest, and claim the FIFAe Nations Cup title - who will emerge victorious in Copenhagen? 

About the competition

The FIFAe Nations Series™ kicks off at a domestic level, with each country selecting their most skilled players via selection processes such as domestic tournaments to compete in the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers, where they go head-to-head in hopes of securing one of the 24 spots at the FIFAe Nations Cup™. 

The nations around the world are split into five zones: South America, North & Central America, Asia & Oceania, Middle East & Africa, and Europe. The nations battle it out in their zone’s FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers, beginning with a Group Stage, leading into a Knockout stage.

Each nation chooses three players after the qualification tournaments to represent their country in a 1v1 format, with one game played on PlayStation, and one on Xbox. Each zone has a dedicated number of spots to qualify for the FIFAe Nations Cup™. The qualified nations from each zone will join the host country, Denmark, in Copenhagen in August.

The search for the ultimate national squad in competitive FIFA comes to an exciting close in one of the most anticipated pinnacle events of the year, where one nation will be awarded the title of FIFAe Nations Cup 2021™ Champions.
