The FIFAe ecosystem is growing in 2026, with a record-breaking number of nations signed up for this season as more than half of FIFA’s Member Association are participating in football esports this year. With 28 debuting nations, this season features over 120 countries across the world, out of which 59 are confirmed to compete in all three titles.

This season comes with a challenge for all defending Champions. Poland, the reigning Champions of the FIFAe World Cup™ ft. eFootball™ Console must navigate a battle against 114 rival nations willing to give their best to strip them from the title.

Meanwhile, Thailand faces an equally uphill battle to retain their crown on eFootball™ Mobile, having to face 80 more nations in the qualification stage this year. Similarly, the French Rocket League national team find themselves in a challenging position, facing 83 more countries for a spot at the FIFAe Finals.

How to join and compete

The first step is registering on FIFA.GG or, if you already have an account, simply create a profile as a Rocket League or eFootball™ player.

Players interested in competing on eFootball™ Console or Mobile are additionally invited to claim their ranked positions on the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Challenger Series by setting up their Konami User ID in their account. More information here.

Now, qualification for the FIFAe Finals runs throughout the year, starting with the FIFAe Nations League as the foundation of national team competition. From there, national teams will move on to the continental qualifiers, where the best nations in each region will earn qualification for the pinnacle event.

About FIFAe in 2026
