England’s fell short on wins. Although the team endured tough matches and gave a battle, England fell to the bottom of the table with 0 wins to account for.
Spain’s incredible teamwork. Spain started slowy but steady, achieving the top of the table by Day 2 with incredible wins and accounting for only one defeat.
Saudi Arabia tried their best to stay afloat. Saudi Arabia crushed Thailand 5-0, climbing the standings as Portugal and Argentina struggled for consistency. However, Japan and Portugal were able to surpass them in points as they couldn’t secure the needed wins.
Portugal’s close qualification. Japan and Argentina’s thrilling 3-2 match, along with Argentina-Brazil’s 0-0 draw, kept the group tense. Portugal’s tight draw with Japan kept hopes alive. In a surprise twist, Portugal beat Brazil, knocking Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina out.
