Bahrain’s success in qualifying for the FIFAe World Cup 25™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile was driven by insights gained through the programme.
Interested coaches and esports enthusiasts can now sign up for the next cohort, while further details on programme guidelines and key dates become available.
The inaugural FIFAe Coach Development Programme powered by FITGMR concluded on 14 October, marking an important milestone in FIFA’s ongoing commitment to raising coaching standards and establishing an accessible pathway for official certification in the football esports scene.
Over the course of four weeks, 33 registered participants from 28 Member Associations across six continents took part in an intensive and interactive learning journey, designed to empower current and aspiring coaches within the FIFAe ecosystem.
The programme, led by FITGMR Esports Coaching Operations Manager, Samuel ‘Boc’ Boudrie, featured live sessions and practical assignments, challenging participants to apply their knowledge and experiences in real-world esports environments. The curriculum was enriched by the additional and valuable contributions provided by the invited FIFAe Coach Advisors:

As the first edition ends, FIFA and FITGMR extend their congratulations to all participants who successfully completed the programme!
A standout success story emerged at the recent Regional Online Qualifiers for the FIFAe World Cup 25™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile, where Bahrain’s coach and programme participant, Mohamed Alrowaihi, applied key learnings from the FIFAe Coach Development Programme, focusing on mental conditioning and tactical preparation with his player ahead of the Playoffs matchups.
This approach ultimately led to Bahrain’s historic qualification for the FIFAe World Cup 25™ featuring eFootball™ Mobile.
FIFA continues to build a foundation for sustainable growth, professionalization, and excellence within the global football esports coaching community. Reaffirming its dedication to endorse football esports coaching, the next cohort will be open early next year.
