FIFAe wins ‘Best Sports Simulation Event’ at the Tempest Awards in Las Vegas

Following the success and positive feedback from the esports community surrounding the season culminating in the FIFAe Finals 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark, FIFAe was nominated for several prestigious awards in the sports, broadcast and entertainment sectors:

  • Social Good/Charity Initiative
  • Best Sports/Sim Event/League (Winner)


The Tempest Awards 2022 were hosted in Las Vegas, USA to honour the greatest esports events and initiatives. FIFAe and the FIFAe Finals 2022 were nominated for three awards this year, including production related to the entire event and its ‘The Good Game Promise’ social good initiative.

On top of being shortlisted, FIFAe took home the winning award for Best Sports/Sim Event/League category, claiming the success over fellow nominees including the 2022 eMLS, Formula 1 Esports Series, NASCAR iRacing Series, and NBA 2K League.


In addition to the Tempest Awards, the FIFAe Finals were shortlisted for the best international programme at the Broadcast Sport Awards, an industry-leading award show in the UK. Alongside world class productions such as the 2021 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, World Athletics Championships in Oregon, SailGP, Premier League Matchday Live and the 2021-2022 EuroLeague Championship Game, the FIFAe Finals were nominated for one of the most prestigious broadcast awards in the United Kingdom.
