And it all comes down to this: after 18 nations at the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™ Console and 16 Nations at the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ eFootball™ Mobile battled for 2 extensive days of Group Stage, high-stakes drama took place on 11 December as the Quarter Finals and Semi Finals concluded. Both platforms showcased some of the tightest matches of the tournament, with multiple encounters decided by extra time and penalty shootouts. In the end, GuiFera99, STS_Jvictor and ThiagoAvare10 from Brazil face Indonesia’s BINONGBOYS, SHNKS-ELGA and akbarpaudie at the Console competition; and Morocco’s AN10_Tienes and Malaysia’s MINBAPPE face each other at the Mobile platform.

Here are some of our favorite highlights:

FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ Console

  • Portugal struck first on Day 3, scoring the opening goal against Spain and pushing the favorites to extra time before Spain squeezed through to the next round.

  • Spain then faced Brazil in a tense Semi Final that extended into a third match. Despite Brazil’s initial 1-0 win and Spain’s determined equalizer, a marathon penalty shootout sent Brazil through to the next stage.

  • Türkiye and Indonesia delivered an action-packed series, with the first game of their matchup featuring a thrilling 4-4 draw. The second game against Malaysia went to penalties, and Türkiye emerged victorious, with calm mood.

FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ Mobile

  • India and Türkiye battled fiercely, with India’s DaNiAL securing a decisive 2-0 win in overtime of their final match.

  • Indonesia fell just short against Thailand, while Morocco upset Korea Republic, eliminating a top contender in quick fashion.

  • Malaysia edged out Japan by a single goal across two tight matches, leaving SHIGE. out of the competition after a tough battle.

  • The Semi Finals proved that the skill gap on Mobile was razor-thin: both matches entered halftime at 1-1, and both second games were forced into penalty shootouts. Malaysia outlasted India 3-1, then won a penalty-filled second game, and Morocco’s AN10_Tienes narrowly defeated Thailand’s P14 in a dramatic final penalty to advance.

  • In the crucial third match against India, Malaysia seized a 2-0 lead, allowed India to draw level, and then scored a late winner. With these extraordinary results, Malaysia earned a place in the Finals against Morocco—an epic showdown that promises more heart-stopping action to conclude the FIFAe World Cup.
