The journey to the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ ft. eFootball™ Console kicks off this September with the Regional Online Qualifiers. Across five regions, the best national teams will battle it out in the ‘Dream Team’ mode for a spot on the biggest stage of the season.
Each region features a competitive setup tailored to its participation numbers following the known FIFAe qualification structure:
Group stage in a Double Round Robin, Best of 1
Knockout stage in Double Elimination Brackets, Best of 2 (Aggregate Score) with a Golden Goal Game in case of ties
Here’s the full breakdown of formats, dates, and qualification slots by region:
Dates:
Group Stage (18 & 19 September)
Knockout Stage (20 September)
Teams: 7 (single group)
Format: Double Round Robin (Bo1), top 4 advance to a Double Elimination Bracket (Bo2, aggregate score, golden goal)
Qualification slots: 1
Dates:
Group Stage (17 & 18 September)
Knockout Stage (19 & 20 September)
Teams: 16, split into 2 groups of 8
Format: Double Round Robin (Bo1), top 4 per group advance to a Double Elimination Bracket (Bo2, aggregate score, golden goal)
Qualification slots: 1
Dates:
Group Stage (17 - 19 September)
Knockout Stage (20 & 21 September)
Teams: 19, divided into one group of 10 and one group of 9
Format: Double Round Robin (Bo1), top 4 per group advance to a Double Elimination Bracket (Bo2, aggregate score, golden goal)
Qualification slots: 3

In total, 11 nations will qualify through the Regional Online Qualifiers and secure their ticket to the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ ft. eFootball™ Console. All matchups will be played using the Dream Team mode. Together with the FIFAe draft, every match becomes a test of individual skill, strategic preparation and adaptability.

The Regional Online Qualifiers are the pathway for national teams to secure their spots at the FIFAe World Cup 2025™. There are separate Regional Online Qualifiers for eFootball™ Console, eFootball™ Mobile, and Rocket League, each with their own qualification process.
11 national teams will qualify for the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ ft. eFootball™ Console to join the host nation, Saudi Arabia.
Asia (East) & Oceania: 3 qualifying spots
Asia (West): 1 qualifying spot
Africa: 1 qualifying spot
Americas: 3 qualifying spots
Europe: 3 qualifying spots
Qualification spots to the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ ft. eFootball™ Console have been allocated based on sign-ups and competitiveness of the respective regions.
The competition structure in each region has been created based on the number of Participating Member Associations.
All matchups will be played in the ‘Dream Team’ mode. Dream Team is the competitive format used for eFootball™ tournaments where players build and customize their teams using available players and formations. Before the start of the tournament, all MAs will participate in the FIFAe Draft to select their 23-player rosters for the Regional Online Qualifiers.
