After open qualifiers, invitational playoffs and nominations, the stage is finally set for the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring Rocket League, where each nation competes for national pride and for the title of Champion of FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League.

Group Stage

The tournament kicks off with an intense group stage spanning the first two days. The 16 participating teams are split into two groups of eight, and each team will face every other team in its group twice (2-Leg format). This setup means each team will compete in 14 matchups, with each matchup played in a best-of-2 format (Bo2), allowing outcomes of a win, draw, or loss.

Points are awarded based on match results:

• Three (3) points for a win,
• one (1) point for a draw,
• and zero (0) points for a loss.

Tiebreakers consider overall points, goals scored and goal differential. For teams tied on points, direct comparisons are made by evaluating goal difference and goals scored between those teams. If necessary, these factors are then assessed across the entire group level.

Knockouts

The last two days introduce the high-stakes knockout phase. The top four (4) teams from each group will progress to the quarterfinals.

On Day 3, the quarterfinals will take place, with each match played in a best-of-7 (Bo7) format.

Teams will compete fiercely for a place in the semifinals and the grand finals on Day 4. Each game intensifies as the tournament nears its peak, culminating in one team claiming victory in the grand finals to secure the Champion of FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League.
