The RLCS Major 1 is the first split of the thirteenth season of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) in 2024. The event kicks off on 28 March and concludes on 31 March, and is celebrated in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The season is divided into two splits, RLCS Major 1 and RLCS Major 2, each comprising several qualifier events that culminate in an international major. Throughout these events, teams accumulate points that determine their qualification for the World Championship.
The RLCS Major 1 event starts with a Swiss Stage, where 16 teams compete in five rounds of matches. Each match is played in a Bo5 format.
The top 8 teams from the Swiss stage advance to the playoff stage. This stage follows a single elimination structure and a Bo7 match format.
The prize pool consists in 255'000 USD distributed among the top 16 teams, and RLCS Circuit points. The winners will take home 75'000 USD.
