Veikkausliiga and the Finnish Football Association are once again bringing Finland’s official football esports competition - the eFutisliiga with the EA SPORTS FC™ title, now in its fourth season. The competition takes place on 20-21 February 2025 at the Winter Assembly trade fair in the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The tournament features 12 players, each representing a team. Eight players received direct invitations based on previous performances, while four players secured their spots through open qualifiers.
The competition sees a group stage with 12 teams, each with one representative player, divided into two groups of six. The top four from each group advance to the knockout stage.
Among the 12 players:
The ultimate champion will earn the qualification to two prestigious events held later this year: a place in the eChampions League, mirroring the path of traditional football clubs into European competition; and a spot at the EA FC Pro World Championship Play-ins.
With high stakes and Finland’s best football esports talent competing, eFutisliiga 2025 promises intense and entertaining action.

March: Competitions are at their peak stage and leagues have started to claim their representatives for this year’s pinnacle events in multiple titles, while other competitions see their players and teams prepared for the next milestones.
The eFutisliiga 2024/25, organized by Veikkausliiga and the Finnish Football Association has concluded its fourth season with a back-to-back victory of Kossu and AC Oulu.
