E-League 2024: What’s New
The E-League, now in its seventh year, welcomes competitors from Australia and New Zealand to engage in EA FC 24, marking a unprecedented year with significant updates.
The 2024 season introduces a new structure with increased incentives, including a significant prize pool and qualification for the EA Sports FC 24 Pro World Championship.
Structure of the competition
The E-League 2024 season sees the introduction of a new format, dividing 24 players into two separate divisions, E-League and E-League Challengers, over a five-week regular season. This change aims to enhance competition intensity and align with the global esports framework.
The season adds a novel element called The Gauntlet, providing an additional pathway for players in the E-Challengers division to advance to the Playoffs, thereby increasing competition and opportunities for all involved.
Season Schedule
The E-League 2024 starts on 11 March with the E-League Challengers, followed by the E-League Competitors division start on March 12. The season is structured around several matchdays leading to the playoffs, culminating in the grand finale on 28 April determining the season's champion.
