eLiga Portugal 2024

The battle for the title of national champion in the eLiga Portugal is officially open since 9 February.

In a renovated format, the eLiga Portugal 2024 promises an exciting competition: 17 clubs playing on three stages across three weekends in three different stadiums:

Phase 1: Estádio Sport Lisboa é Benfica (9-10 February)

Phase 2: Estádio do Dragão (8-9 March)

Phase 3: Estádio Municipal de Braga (12-14 April)

Competition structure

Group Stage

The Top teams from each Group (Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3) advance to the Playoffs, along with the best third of the Group stage.

A "Last Chance Qualifier" takes place and is performed by other thirds to determine the one last spot at the Playoffs.

Playoffs

The Playoffs are played in a Single Elimination format, where extra time and penalties are played in the case of a draw.

The three stages share the same format. Groups are distributed differently in each stage.

After the end of each Phase, teams win points that could lead them to the winning spot.
