FIFAe Champions Cup 2021™

The FIFAe Champions Cup explained

Pride and glory are back on the line in the EA SPORTS FIFA Online 4 Series. Teamwork will be decisive in a highly competitive field of participants carrying their badge and the hopes of their fans. Teams will battle it out remotely against their local rivals as well as internationally against teams from the other FIFA Online 4 regions to be crowned the FIFAe Champions Cup™ winner and earn valuable points on the road to the FIFAe Continental Cup 2021™.

About the competition

The FIFAe Champions Cup™ is one of three major qualification events on the road to the pinnacle event of the EA SPORTS FIFA Online 4 Series - the FIFAe Continental Cup 2021™. The FIFAe Champions Cup™ has seen three teams from each region - China PR, Korea Republic, Thailand, and Vietnam - challenge their rivals to fulfil their dreams and climb to the top spots in the rankings.

Each team consisted of three players each and battled it out in a round-robin Group Stage in four groups of three teams each.

In the Group Stage, each of the players played one game in a three-game matchup, gaining points for their team. From there, the top two teams from each group advanced to a split double-elimination bracket with a Final between both bracket winners.

The Semi-Finals and Final differed from the rest of the competition as they have been played in a best-of-five format, instead of the original best-of-three.

The winning team has been crowned the first-ever FIFAe Champions Cup™ winner.
