The FIFAe 2026 season introduces an expanded competitive structure for national teams, bringing together 82 nations on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ ft. eFootball™ Mobile. The journey begins in April with the FIFAe Nations League 2026, marking the starting point of the international season.

Across three online qualifying weeks, national teams compete in a structured format that combines group stage play with knockout stages, ensuring a balanced mix of match volume and competitive pressure. Each week begins with a Single Round Robin Group Stage, followed by a Single Elimination Knockout Stage in Weeks 1 and 2, and a Double Elimination Knockout Stage in Week 3. Throughout the competition, national teams earn Consistency Points based on their performances in both the group stage and the knockout stage.

This format provides Member Associations with the opportunity to evaluate and refine their line ups over time. At the conclusion of the FIFAe Nations League, the highest ranked nations in the overall consistency ranking, along with the top performers from the final week, qualify for the FIFAe Continental Championships.

The FIFAe Continental Championships bring together the strongest teams from each region and represent the final qualification step on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026™. With defending champions Thailand setting the benchmark and the introduction of an all-new 2 vs 2 format, national teams from around the world now begin their journey towards the FIFAe World Cup 2026™, aiming to compete on the world stage. More information and details on competition format, schedules, and qualification spots per region of the FIFAe Continental Championships will be published soon.
