The 2024 season of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) reaches its thrilling conclusion from 10 to 15 September as the RLCS 2024 World Championship is held at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
Dickies Arena, which previously hosted the 2021-22 Rocket League World Championship is once again be the stage for the season's grand finale.
The competition begins with a 16-team Swiss System format. In this stage, teams play a series of best-of-five (Bo5) matches. The goal is to progress through the bracket based on performance, and the top 8 teams at the end of this stage will move on to the playoffs.
Teams finishing in 3rd to 5th place in the Swiss Stage enter a tiebreaker to determine their exact seeding. In this tiebreaker, the 3rd place team faces the 4th seed. The loser of that match then competes against the 5th seed. All matches are played as best-of-five (Bo5).
The playoffs follow a bracket system. The top 4 teams from the Swiss Stage begin with two chances to reach the Final Four, while teams ranked 5th-8th start with only one chance. All playoff matches are played in a best-of-seven (Bo7) format.
The top 16 international teams will compete for the world title and a prize pool of USD 1'165'000.
