Group Stage

The FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring Rocket League starts with a group stage spanning two days, where every victory counts. The 16 participating national teams are split into two groups of eight, and each national team will face every other team in its group twice in a Double Round Robin format. This format means each team will compete in 14 matchups, with each matchup played in a Best-of-2 format (Bo2), allowing outcomes of a win, draw, or loss.

Points are awarded based on match results:

  • Three (3) points for a win,
  • one (1) point for a draw,
  • and zero (0) points for a loss.

Tiebreakers consider overall points, goals scored and goal differential. For teams tied on points, direct comparisons are made by evaluating goal difference and goals scored between those teams. If necessary, these factors are then assessed across the entire group level.

Knockout Stage

The top four teams from each group advance to the knockout stage, where they will face each other in a single elimination format. Each matchup will be played in a Best-of-7 (Bo7). At this point, one mistake can define the outcome: the winning teams will advance to the next round, while the losing teams will bid farewell to the competition.

Teams will compete fiercely for a place in the semifinals and the grand finals on the last day. With every match, the stakes rise: until one team rises above all to be crowned Champion of the FIFAe World Cup 2025™ featuring Rocket League.
